We donned our funky wellingtons and set out on our 4-mile wilderness wander, which allowed us to identify all the first signs of spring blooming into life – daffodils, snowdrops, adorable tiny lambs… oh, and wet, sludgy mud.
Numerous stiles and thorny bushes later, we arrived at the wonderful Hackwood Farm for a well-deserved lunch and slice of cake.
All in all a perfect way to end our week before finishing for the bank holiday!
