The importance of simplicity

Since moving back to the shire just over a year ago, it has been at times a challenge to explain the importance of simplicity in design.

Whether posters, publications, brands or websites; keeping work clean, refreshing and uncluttered is seen as brave. To most non-designers less seems cheaper but beneath the surface, understatement is much more effective.
