Tick tock on the clock
Although the title would suggest otherwise, this blog post isn’t actually about ke$ha’s famous song tik-tok.
We all know what time is, but just to give you a better perception of it, 1 million seconds is roughly 11.5 days and 1 billion seconds is approximately 31.5 years. Yes, years!
It’s easy to think that 15 minutes can’t impact your life. When we don’t value time or understand our values and priorities, we turn our back on 15 minutes a day and would rather sleep it off.
We push things aside and say ‘”I’ll do that in 10 minutes”, or “that can wait until tomorrow”, but what if we stopped that? Think about all the things we could get done that would ultimately allow us to reach our goals so much quicker.
What I’m trying to say is that, dedicating a small amount of time a day to work on things you normally wouldn’t, could really impact your life in a positive way.
And it doesn’t even need to be to actively work towards a specific goal, it could simply be taking a 15-minute walk rather than a 5-minute drive, going to bed a little earlier, or making time to read that book that’s been sitting on your shelf for a month.
These small changes will have a larger impact than what you think. It can make you happier, healthier and more motivated.
